About the event
ONLINE BOOK CLUB!!
Networking. Community building. Self Growth. Momentum. Encouragement. It's not just about the book. You should even come if you haven't read the book...still totally worthwhile. Not a Hub member? No problem. Spend an hour with us. Have some coffee, meet some people.
Come join the Staunton Innovation Hub Book Club and Leading Strong to discuss the upcoming theme:
In honor of Black History Month, February’s book selections will focus on black authors. As I write this note, I am listening to a virtual session from one of the selected authors, Isabel Wilkerson, who wrote Caste. The topic of the book is very interesting and I encourage you to seriously consider reading it this month. The February selections are:
- Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson
- A Promised Land by Barrack Obama
- Unapologetically Ambitious by Shellye Archambeau
- The Presidential Principles: How To Inspire Action And Create Lasting Impact 1st Edition by Anton Gunn
Pick any one book and read it… though some folks have not been able to read any of the books and just come to be part of the conversation. We will continue to meet via Zoom on Wednesdays at noon.
FREE event! Come join the Staunton Innovation Hub Book Club and Leading Strong. They choose 4 books around 1 topic and you read one of them for discussion.
If you are interested in attending and would like to receive an invite to the meetings, please email Jason Boron at jason@leadingstrongllc.com
