About the event

This week, Mary Sullivan of VOTP (Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership) joins us to talk about...

Internships: connecting non-profits with emerging talent

Did you know that interns are a good source of new talent for your organization? Interns can offer new perspectives, knowledge, and techniques to address organization’s challenges and projects. Looking to host an intern or build an internship program? The Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP) has several FREE resources to help you learn best practices and methods of building a program. Bonus!

Small to mid-sized businesses/organizations may qualify for staffing agency services AND matching funds to off-set intern wages! Valley Internship Experience Workgroup (VIEW) Project Coordinator, Mary Sullivan can connect you with the high schools, colleges, and universities in the Shenandoah Valley region to find students for internships and other work-based learning opportunities.
